Personally, my usual order is MeTa, Mefi, and AskMe, but that's all purely personal. I balance that all out with a healthy dose of MetaChat.

I'm just recovering from dealing with the folks with similar DNA to mine, and I likely had too much tryptophan (but OMG, my aunt can SO cook a fabulous turkey). And then, I started drinking some when I got home.

To avoid any confusion about the birthday thing, I should let you know that her actual birthday is July 6. Yeah, I jumped the gun a little on the date, but the huge exhibition in Mexico City started on June 13.

Perhaps a more formal meetup could be scheduled on July 6?

If you want to do an interview with "anonymous," you may consider doing a "female anonymous" and a "male anonymous." I suggest this only because the questions do indeed differ by gender from what I've noticed. (It's tempting to do a sociology MS thesis on something similar.)

Also, please make sure to get volunteers (who aren't trapped by effing dialup) but who ARE addicted to anon questions in that soap-opera-esque kind of way.

DNAB, I'm fairly new here, but I think the flameout etiquette also includes saying that you're leaving at least three times in quick succession while coming back every time with responses to show you're still following the thread. Then, we all get to have marshmallows, popcorn, smores or more eggnog. And torches. Somebody has to bring torches. (And then there's being banned.
