They've had cat cafes in Hong Kong for years and, unlike the Tokyo one, the cats come free with your beverage of choice! The Chococat Cafe even serves desserts shaped like cats and if you ask a waitress, she'll deliver a cat right onto your table! When I went the place was full of girls cooing over the cats while their boyfriends played on their PSPs :)

Thank you, I'm really enjoying this! Btw, if you ever get the chance to see Robert Lepage/Michael Levine's acclaimed production of Bluebeard's Castle and Erwartung, jump at it. I had the privilege of seeing the Canadian Opera Company perform it and the experience was truly a revelation, one of the most atmospheric and awe-inspiring productions I've ever seen. [At the end, the brides actually rise dripping from the blood red 'pool of tears'!]

It's a fantastic find! Incredible that it's intact too, considering it's 700 years older than the intact tomb of Tutankhamun, and dates to a more turbulent period of Egyptian history. I've always thought that the only reason public television networks specializing in educational programming, such as PBS or TVO, get away with broadcasting British dramas and mysteries is because everyone speaks in a British accent. They all sound so smart- it must be educational!
