They Glow
Amiga demoscene music! I can see the rotating colors and polygons right now.
It also reminds me of the Brinstar music from Super Metroid, especially those fade-in notes. Good stuff.

Punch 'Em In The Dick (NSFW lyrics)
Crunk for a punk's junk!
I'm-a go practice some low, low uppercuts now.

In the case of most MetaFilter Music songs, I think that the silence is the criticism. No one really needs to vocally shoot down a song that's already been quietly brushed aside.
Here, with the most popular MetaFilter song of all time, there's actually a point to voicing dislike.
A secondary reason that I think you see less vigorous criticism here than in the blue is that here, someone put some amount of work into what they're presenting. However... [more]

Flapjax, it wasn't meant to be cold. By "quietly brushed aside," I meant what mathowie said here:
Also, it's much more obvious that if you don't like a song, there are fifty more on the front page to choose from. Unless someone is specifically asking for feedback on arrangement or lyrics or sound, if I don't like something, I just move on to the next one and I think that's perfectly fine.
I don't think it's cold to just quietly move on to the next song.

The piano loop was a little sprawling, so it was a little hard to figure out what to pay attention to, but much respect for stepping to the mic!

Problem: Circular Thinking
Yeah, singing over intricate riffing! That needs to happen more often outside of metal. And that verse riff does do a good job of evoking circular thinking, or at least thinking.

Are those real drums? Either way, very punchy. I like how the double bass stands out. I usually hear it doubled with guitar, and it's good to hear it alone.

That low pulsing against the organs is really satisfying. When the xylophone comes in, I'm reminded of a soundtrack for some sci-fi exploration-type video game.

Nice vocal harmonies! And melodies. The reverb is a distracting for me, but it's a good listen, nevertheless.

Las garras del destino
Yup, I think speeding it up is a nice touch.
Understanding lyrics isn't important at all to me. I listen to a lot incomprehendible vocals. Sounding good is all that matters. If the lyrics happen to be good, that's an added bonus.
Heh, Coreans? As in from 'Corea'?

Oh, hey, you're Virt! I posted to VGMix a few years ago. I'm glad to see you're still at it.

Ghosts Up (featuring Shannon)

That is a good question! I think my pseudoscientific explanation is going to be that you can manipulate things, but you have no absorption or digestion mechanism. So, you can bite it apart, but whatever you bite will just fall through you. And given that taste involves actually allowing atoms to enter one's cells, you can't taste it, either.
Either that or "it's part of the ancient law of ghosts!... [more]

That's a neat train impression in the piano at the end. Overall, it's pretty Fantomas-like.

You make good use of stereo there. The two (or more?) guitars work together well while being pretty loosely coupled to each other.

'80s stuff is definitely not my kind of thing, but I liked the intro and the breakdown/re-buildup toward the end. Also, I found that it was kind of fun/weird to rap the GZA's "Liquid Swords" over it. If you're not going to do anything else with it, maybe you could grab a rap a capella track and mix it in.
