Get me from Madrid to Lisbon
As long as your flight into Madrid lands on time or close, of course you can. Barajas is not that big and hard to navigate in my opinion. Whether your flight will land on time or not isn't something any of us could know though.
Good luck!

A few questions related to Trance Music.
Webster Hall still gets some really good DJs once in a while. Infected Mushroom play there a few times/year and DJ Dan and Donald Glaude just spun there recently too.
For psytrance, check out 28th Day and 6362 Metaforce - best to get on their mailing lists.
Tsunami Trance used to throw tons of psy parties at Spirit, but they have ceased for the time being.
Also check out Alex Grey's gallery, CoSM - they do monthly full... [more]

Is sex in America really so out of control?
What happened to the interest in simply finding a fitting partner who you can stick to?
The people you're judging? This is what they're doing actually. Congrats to Nattie and others like her, but most of us would be miserable if we stuck with the first person we had sex with. That's called settling.
The best way, in my opinion, to find a fitting partner to stick it out with is by having a variety of romantic experiences. Who... [more]

Curly hair care
Get out of the shower and then don't touch it. At all. Let it air dry as it wants.
Whenever I can manage to not fiddle with my hair, and especially not brush it, the curls come out tighter and less frizzy. Once it's dry I might add some hairspray for volume, gel for staying power, or finishing cream for frizz reduction.
Good luck!

Take a class and pick up a new hobby. Sewing, painting, yoga, hula hooping, cooking, web design, hiking, beach volleyball, DJing. Would she maybe enjoy a pet?

Outlook Express, tell me you're good for something...
Hi, I want to be able to move the messages to specific folders by hand.
After that, I want all the messages I move into Folder A to get the same response.

The [Reply with message] part is what I'm really trying to figure out how to do! Once I manually place an email in the right folder, I would like Outlook to reply to that person with a specific message. It would be the same message for everyone in that folder.

How can I fight crime?
This is a really tough situation. I'm guessing you're in New York...either way, I am and the teenagers around here can be SCARY. The elementary school kids can be pretty scary too, actually.
A lot of these kids play rough with each other and it can be hard to know when they're crossing the line or just goofing. My advice, and something I have done in the past, is to make eye contact with another (assertive looking) passenger and maybe point or nod your head to the action.... [more]

Hula hooping is the obvious answer here. Don't get a kids hoop from a toy store; instead invest in a good quality exercise hoop from a site like Hoop Shine or Hoop Girl. Pick it up whenever you have the urge to move! For more on hoop culture, check out hooping.org
(By the way, I am simply a hooping enthusiast and have no affiliation with any of the above!)

why can't i breathe?!
I always assumed it was sheer gravity. If I tilt my head down (like I might if i were sweeping, etc), snot flows out of my sinuses and I can blow my nose easily. If I lay down, it all pools in my sinuses and I have to breathe out of my mouth.
Also, if I lay on my right side, it all goes thataway. And vice versa with the left.
Mucinex helps a bit in general (get the good stuff from behind the counter at the pharmacy though).

How and how often do you communicate with your significant other?
Well my boyfriend and I have been living together for eight months, and we generally exchange anywhere from 5-10 text messages each during the work/school day, and perhaps 20 minutes of IM if we catch each other. I'll usually call him if I have something important to say or ask, but he's not a big phone person =)

I don't think anyone has touched on this, but have you seen any doctors at all since that bad time? You mentioned going into a panic attack at the thought of having to rehash your past, so I'm thinking maybe a therapist or doctor's note on the matter would be useful, if only to add another piece of paper to your arsenal of "I'm not going down without a fight."

Not ready to marry
Is she ill to the point where her life is in danger, especially if she can't afford to see a doctor? I don't know what the 'right' way to handle this situation is, but if it were me I would do everything in my power to make sure my significant other, someone I love dearly, wasn't sick and/or dying!
It doesn't sound like she wants to push you into marriage for the sake of it, but for the sake of getting around the fact that health care in the U.S. is a crock of shit and... [more]

Thanks for all your responses! WAMU being bought out by Chase realllllllllly makes me not want to go with them. Chase is the worst bank of all for someone like me, in my experience.
I've been doing lots of sleuthing based on your leads and I think I might be going the Bank of America route. I had a chat with an online representative and they guaranteed me free checking with no minimum balance for as long as I have the account open, an additional free savings account as... [more]

Would you live near train tracks in a nice apartment?
Ugh, no. Don't do it...that's just my opinion. Are you talking about NYC by any chance? My friend lived in a place in Astoria right near the N/W and the sound was outrageous. He never got used to it and moved out a few months later, breaking lease and everything.

Is it possible to play around with style but not get caught up in the superficial?
Yes. I think the key is to make sure that, as you explore your own fashion tastes, you don't judge others for theirs.
As for where to start? Oh boy. I'm thinking perhaps you should splurge on a great haircut, then educate yourself on a good skin care and makeup regimen. I don't have a specific recommendation, but pick up a few books on personal... [more]

Experimenting with ketamine is the most surefire way to recreate these closed eye visuals.
By the way, Brandon Blatcher, I've had nearly the same experience - dictating my surroundings within a lucid dream - and 'perfect' and 'blissful' are exactly how I would describe it as well =)

We love Mom, but don't want her going with us on vacation.
My grandmother died the day I was supposed to leave for my spring semester in Madrid. That sucked. After that, no one in the family managed to visit me when I was abroad. Yes I'm biased, but I say take her.
Also, assuming your daughter is there between January and May like I was, the weather never gets hot, so walking in the heat won't be an issue. If anything it will be on the chilly side until April or so.

Not everything will be open on Saturday, and nothing will be open on a Sunday, but check 37th, 38th, and 39th streets between 7th and 8th Ave. I don't have a wholesale license and I buy fabric from these places all.the.time. The men love to flirt and bargaining is a cinch. Have fun!

Ha. I'm 23 and just last night I had a particularly intense dream that I was pregnant. It's not the first I've had in the past few years, and it's one of a bunch I've had very recently! Is there something in the air? Nah, I really think it's all the celebrity and friend pregnancies I've been hearing about recently. Keep the clothes on!
I think you should sew mittens onto the sleeves of his pajamas just like the feet are attached. Why not try putting his pajamas on inside out so they zip up the back from inside? That might make it a lot harder for him to unzip. You could also try adding a few buttons over the zipper. All this would be a giant pain if he has to 'go' in the middle of the night, though. Poor fellow. Good luck!
