Urban areas flat as a pancake?
As I remember grade 6 social studies, the midwest is pretty flat, having been under a glacier for quite some time. So--Detroit, Chicago, Toronto?
I think Chicago is also known for how flat its marathon is.

Please, I don't want to be a Typhoid Mary!
Your schedule should be fine, if not inconvenient.
As for the fridge, 2 hours doesn't seem that long if the door stayed shut, but I would also double check with the pharmacist/doctor to make sure.

Most people find waking up in the middle of the night to take medicine an inconvenience, but if it works for you, I wouldn't worry about it.

Help me become Ob-Wan Gynobi.
Shadow a doctor for a few days and see if that's what you really want to do.
As for developing a relationship with patients, yes, you can do that as an MD you just have to be more selective with your patients. The MDs I have shadowed that practice holistic medicine have their own practice, spend 30-40 minutes per patient, and generally love their work. They also however, tend to see more well-off populations who can pay out-of-pocket as their business model doesn't fit well with... [more]

Can you recommend a great eye doctor in New York City
I have both (also stronger than you), and contacts work fine for me. The fitting appointment lasted about as long as a regular eye check-up, the only thing tricky might be actually putting the lenses in your eyes for the first time. As for lens selection, I've worn monthly and weekly lenses, but when I asked about the ones you can sleep in, I was told that they weren't available. That was a few years ago, I think things may have changed on that front however.

Exciting food combinations?
nthing
fries + chocolate ice cream
apple pie + cheese (i like sharp cheddar)
bacon + anything
and a favourite thing I used to do in the dining halls was mix the soft-serve ice cream with beverages:
soft serve + root beer
soft serve + orange juice

Why do I like running to Cowboy?
When I ran cross country I ran better when I had the cranberries Zombie stuck in my head, so I started listening to it before races.
I thought this was weird, but maybe Ironmouth's reasoning explains it.

The waiting is the hardest part.
I think it also depends on the school--if it's a more competitive school, his chances might be lower, as fewer people would be willing to give up their spot.
His chances would also probably depend on his position on the list. You could try calling the school and asking, but many schools won't give out that information.

Bueller?
1. did you find any flash card programs?
2. Brain Age and Brain Age 2 are nice, and I like their sudoku UI more than any other hand held sudoku I've tried (but these probably fall under the time-wasting category)

Music that makes you lose yourself of get in the zone.
DNTEL, Filla Brazillia and add another vote to Do Make Say Think and Boards of Canada. Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) and Broken Social Scene (most of the time..) are also on my study playlist, but not as much, as these artists have lyrics and I study slightly better to instrumental music.
