Oh, that's it. I'm taking a talking bow and a bunch of perc instruments on the boat with me next time we go and scraping up some players for something to do during the dull times. This song will be my recruiting poster.

I like odd meters also. This song is damn good, just needs a more professional-sounding mixing.
The distortion kicks in out of time, and the vocals sound ah... how do I say it. Overdubbed? Not blended in very well, and a little---dont' know the technical term---thin. Sounds like the singer is just singing in a normal talking voice with the volume turned way up, when he should be screaming over the guitars. Needs more vocal... [more]

TWR - is that how they do that? I thought they multitracked the guitars and slightly detuned the tracks for a fatter overall sound.
Agree - the distortion kick-in was disappointingly weak. That spot should have been one of those feel-in-your-body-more-than-hear spots. Although, I am listening on cheesy laptop speakers.
