My apologies in advance for furthering the stereotype. I'm a girl, I like video games, but I lean towards puzzles games & sims... & my skills suck.
My boyfriend is a video game collector & fairly avid player, as it is, his interest in types of games & his skill level are a fair bit different than my own. We recently got a PS3 & I'd like to expand the library by adding a few new games for myself (I'm looking for older stuff preferably: PS2 or even PS1 games). I like to play, but often have trouble finding games... so here I am turning to the MetaFilter Suggestion Engine.

My SO & I were having a conversation yesterday that somehow landed on the topic of alien life. Essentially, I said something to the effect of "even if there is

I am travelling with my SO to meet my parents tomorrow in Ottawa, a city none of us live in or have lived in. I searched some city guides earlier for restaurants & found some places that looked good, but I hadn't yet made a reservation. Long story shortened, I've been ill & have not made a reservation yet for Saturday; I also no longer think the places I originally looked at are appropriate.

Hi, this is my first question... here goes:
I live in Montreal (but am not a native of the city), I'm looking for a gym that has 3 month or "pay-as-you-go" memberships (as I may be moving July 1st). I don't drive, so it pretty much needs to be near a métro station; on that note I work & live on the Orange line (work=Cremazie / home=Cote-Vertu).
I'm kind of lazy, but I do enjoy going to a gym... i.e. if it's not too much out of my way, I'll go regularly.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
