I'm looking for practical, first-person, inspirational stories of how to launch/bootstrap entrepreneurial ideas with little or no resources. The more specific and detailed, the better.

My employer is searching for an end-user friendly, drag-n-drop, WYSIWYG webpage editor that is neither a CMS or a web hosting panel. Does something like this exist?

I want to conquer my apparent inability to comprehend or write code. I'm looking for stories (or real life applicable tips from those of you who write code for a living) where you had the "A HA, I understand this finally" epiphany moment. I realize this might sound like an overly generic question, which is why there is ....

I need suggestions for an application (or database) to help my employer keep better track of live-trivia scorekeeping results. They are currently doing it all in various separate Excel spreadsheets, and this is (almost) 2008, so I'm sure there must be a better way.

Our team needs a better scheduling/calendar application. (I've created a mockup (see inside) of one desired outcome.) Its a small team (under 10ppl) but we work 24/7 and would like the schedule to be easy to update/modify. There must be some kind of Web2.0/Ajax-ified hotness for this out there somewhere, I'm just not finding it.

I just started a new job, and am astounded that the company seems to use a different software app for everything. I've got a variety of different (unique) username/password combos to try to remember. I'd like to suggest to them to find software solutions to combine some of these systems. Lets begin with the list...

I have a variety of talents and interests, but no degree. So, I'd like to go back to school and get a degree in Architecture or Urban-Planning.

I've created (what I think) is a pretty good/useful educational-blog, but it still has relatively zero traffic. How do I get my blog in front of more teachers/students eyeballs?

My local city lacks a good online GIS/information map. I have a perfect idea for one, but am stuck trying to figure out to implement it. Anyone have suggestions/experience with building a web2.0/GIS website aimed at helping city residents find local information/businesses ?

K12 Hot Links
K12 Hot Links is an educational blog focused on finding the best educational resource sites on the Internet.
I spent the last 3 years working (as the IT director) in a K-12 School District and got everyday lessons in how desperate teachers are for good resources. There seem to be many "bad" educational websites (poor design, infrequently updated), or sites that are just "opinion". The goal of K12 Hot Links is to create a simple and easy to navigate directory of USEFUL educational resources that will make teachers lives easier. I've posted 250+ links so far, in categories covering Classroom Management and Fundraising to Textbooks and Online Software. In the future I have plans to do a yearly laptop give-away (ending in July right before school starts), among other ideas.
