IANAD, but could this "buzz" be from the b6 or b12 vitamins likely to be found in this and other similar products? I don't have any reference or anything, but just a thought..

Have you heard of Powerbreathe before? I haven't used it personally, but my boyfriend has being using it to help recover from shortness of breath due to chronic bronchitis. His doctor recommended this to him, and he reports that it works well.

But I still second going to another doc to get your asthma properly treated! Good luck with everything.

Negative for STDs - as well as my partners, no constipation - but I haven't been eating much, and no trouble urinating. Now I have a dull ache accompanying the pain. Still have a slight fever with some nausea. And oddly, shoulder pain?? But probably unrelated - I didn't sleep well.

I'm heading to the urgent care anyway. Thanks for all your help, ladies.

In case anyone was wondering, an ovarian cyst was twisting my ovary and fallopian tube - that was what was causing all that pain! It was removed. I miss it. OK, not really. It was excruciating! But now back home and healing nicely.

I don't know about the liability issue at stake here. What I do know is that I hate those POS damn shoes! Because they're not really shoes! People need to stop marketing them as such.

My suggestion would be to go over to talk to his parents about your concerns (no one would be able to promptly get their boy help if you weren't home.. that kind of thing) and "gift" the boy a helmet to wear if he comes over to skate.
