Could never remember the joke part. If anyone knows the actual joke, you would settle a 30 year family mystery and I would be much obliged!

I thought I commented way upthread but it is lost in meta-space somewhere. I really like robocop's suggestion of giving a little pat on the back in the thread. My brother at age 16 (also a July bday), skipped his senior year to go on to college. Finished a 4 year degree in 3, graduated college at 19 and had his Masters at 21. It was a 2-year program though. So I guess it can be done if the stars allign correctly...

Wow, Great FPP post hadjiboy and comment allkindsoftime. I missed that the first time around. My biggest problem when I woke up this morning was if my babysitter was going to be able to come so I could go get my monthly dye job and make my appointment to test drive new cars. Really puts my comfortable life into a much different perspective. I have some thinking to do.

Everybody has a guideline already. The "You get one question a week so use it wisely" guideline. If that is what they choose to use their question on, then I think it is fine. There is still plenty of room for other questions and no one is making you click and read that one.

Wow. Like some others above, this makes me thankful for my easy, happy childhood and it also makes me want to strive to give my babies the best, most wonderful experiences ever. Art, music, cooking, culture, tolerance, love, teamwork, competition, winning, losing, dance, drama, friends, lovers, surprises, learning, growing,....I could go in for days.
