Arts/theater internship

Light Opera Works is looking for college students, grad students, and recent grads for internships in management, development, marketing, production and stagecraft. Light Opera Works is the Chicago area's largest not-for profit musical theater. Internships are full time and are extremely hands-on and independent; you will be a valuable member of our small staff. Management Work alongside our professional staff in all aspects of theater management, including: • Box Office and Front of House • Marketing • Public Relations • Development Stage Production Immerse yourself in all areas of theater, with the opportunity to focus on your special interest: • Artistic Direction/Casting • Production Management • Stage Directing • Music Direction • Stage Management Light Opera Works will tailor the internship experience to your interests and talents. You'll learn first-hand how an efficient arts organization thrives in the "real world." Full-time interns receive stipend pay of $500 per month. Internships can be arranged in cooperation with your school for course credit.
