Music post: Where does everyone play?
I play in some room of the house (the kitchen being my favourite I guess). I've played live a few times but I'm deeply shy and extremely subject to stage fright. So, in order to play for an audience, I've tried to train my cats to appreciate my music by playing next to them since their birth. Maybe I've been successful, but I'm not really sure.

Music post: instrumental
Thanks for the guitar playing. Everyone is stuck with patterns. I think that the key is maybe to try to play a melody while sustaining a steady bass. Slow down as much as possible until you find your own way to play with the chord position. Sometimes it's not the right hand pattern that's a problem, but the way that pattern relates to the chord changes. I mean you might have to change chords just before the end or your finger pattern in order to avoid the mechanical feeling. The problem often is... [more]

I think your playing, your sound, your harmonies bear some resemblance with some Nick Drake's pieces. His arpeggios and strumming were both real simple and effective. Check it out. Btw, I've just listened to your piece once again. It's really nice. Thank you.

Music post: Ambient Evil
This is definitely a disaster's. But a well recorded one, and, as micayetoca said, it really conveys something. I feel somehow that the delay behind your voice is afflicting the overall rhythm in a strange way.

Music post: lullaby
hi,
well, as usual, I didn't want it to be too polished, I think that keeping it as close as possible from the spontaneous original musical ideas is keeping it simple and alive, as you said. The flute is actually a blessing one I ordered from ebay, and is about the fifth flute I've been ordering. I think I'm going to buy a brand new one, since each flute I've been buying has some sort of flaw, this one is out of tune from the high C onwards, and the lower C, C# and D are unreachable.... I think that the second part is the scary one, but you have to listen to it with sufficient volume to grasp what's going on.
