I think I still have two big sticker albums at my parents' house. My friends and I were really into trading, so I had a lot of multiples. That tends to happen when you buy a back of 16 identical root-beer stickers. Oilies were definitely real; I had one in a crescent moon shape and one in a unicorn shape, and more I can't remember. I tried to keep them on shreds of the backing paper, so they could be used later. (p.s. They were never used later. What would I use them for?)

Watching them through an uncovered window from many feet away is gross and sleazy but understandable. Taping it and, especially, uploading it, is criminal. With YouTube and cheap-ass videocameras and cell phone cameras everywhere, it's time for a specific law protecting people's privacy from this crap. What if you take away the nudity/sexual aspects of the story away. Let's say I see my neighbor doing something humorously stupid (like sticking a penny in an outlet), and I record it, and upload it online. Is it criminal?

It is very likely that the person inside of the Minnie (and Mickey) costume is a girl, since both Mickey and Minnie aren't allowed to be taller than 5 feet or so.

And while there's absolutely no chance that Johnny Depp would sleep with me, there's a fairly reasonable chance that a guy made up to look like him (but works for near-minimum wage) would. So I get the reason why ladies would be coming on to him.

It is super creepy and fascinating that just a little piece of the uterine lining, wherever it is in your body, will grow and shed blood every month. Like a zombie. We have zombie lady-bits.

I'd like these better if they weren't so inaccurate. First of all, Queen Latifah is totally hot; are they saying she isn't because she's overweight? (If so, then this graph is just sad (the creator's got a weight problem, but NO FAT CHICKS! AMIRITE?)

I used to love Cerebus, but when he started his anti-me (i.e. mysogyny) bullshit in the back pages, I had to stop buying it. I started buying the monthlies somewhere in the 150s, and was ready to buy the remaining 150 until the end of the 300-issue run. It's very sad.

For almost all of these, the boobs are too high and the legs are too long. The "traditional artist" link has the most realistic. And the divine proportions one is the worst. The nipples are insane, and why is she on her toes? Don't make a lady naked and then pose her, Barbie-style, as though she's got invisible high-heeled shoes on. Ugh.

Seriously, these aren't all that terrible (except for the creepy divine proportions one). If you're going for realism, however, the "draw like the comic books!" sites are ultimately going to hurt your work. You need to draw what you see.

Yes but most of the jedis wear robes, which would help hide where the person's body is and make it more difficult to hit. The less clothing, the easier it is to see exactly where to slice and dice. Wearing bikini-like armor is a mind-bendingly dumb move, unless you were fighting over who has the best abs.

I would have put "My Life As A Dog" on there.

And Pan's Labyrinth was terrible. Very predictible, full of cliches ... there are some great visuals, but that's not enough to save a movie filled with nothing but one-dimensional characters. I am aware that I'm part of a minority when I say that, though.
