I like it. that is what it feels like in some of the parts of Paris and the suburbs imho. What strikes me as a little weird, to be honest, is.. why would the kid be out there without a coat on if it was cold? It's not that hard to get a cheap coat. Or heck if he was out there mugging people why wouldn't he steal someone's nice coat, first thing. Hey my feeling is, if I tried to give my coat to a kid trying to mug me (which has happened - the mugging, though not me offering anything they didn't ask for) he'd probably be like, I don't want your ugly coat.
