Why is Alan Dean Foster's name on the UK quad poster for the film Dark Star?

Does anyone know why author Alan Dean Foster's name is on the UK quad poster for the film Dark Star? Foster wrote the subsequent novelisation. Were they trying to imply it was an adaptation?

Are they the same book with different titles, or variations on a theme?

Gwyneth Paltrow's cook book is called My Father's Daughter in the US and Notes from my Kitchen Table in the UK. The synopses I've seen suggest they have the same recipes but different surrounding texts. Are they the same book with different titles, or variations on a theme?

Name this film.

Name this film: for some reason why -- I can't remember -- the main character -- who I think works in a bank -- realises that there is a lot of money -- penny and cents -- in dormant accounts and sets about retrieving them and collecting them together I think for a charitable cause but it could be something more nefarious. Any ideas?

Suggests for films about and made in the 1920s and 1930s

I'm planning a personal/blogging project next year to watch films set and which were made during the interwar years and documentaries about the period, from the close of the first world war up until the start of world war two and I was hoping for some suggestions.

Train travel bargains in the UK

I'm hoping to go on a day trip by train in the UK next week. I'm not too choosy about my destination but I am about the price. Is there a website where I can enter the amount I'm willing to pay and it will list destinations that are available at that price and at what times?

Why doesn't the BBC show films in the right way?

Classic music recommendations

ClassicalMusicfilter: I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms having listened to all of the BBC Proms this year -- no really, all of them, from first to last -- and I want to continue my musical education but I'm not sure what to listen to next and I was hoping you might have some recommendations. Literally any period of music, I'll try anything! If you can say which are your favourite recordings either on cd or region two dvd that would be helpful too.
