Hey! Joel Hodgson (of Mystery Science Theater and Cinematic Titanic) was in the latest episode of Water and Power.

This is hilarious.
I read a few pages of comments for several of the Youtube videos and the levels of inappropriate rage are off the charts.
I'd like to point out that Mike McCafferty was in the movie IDIOCRACY.
And Dawn Cody is a talented actress with a superior intellect and excellent sense of comedic timing!

If my calculations are correct, here is the curve:
yearbook plus 5 years = no discernible difference yet
yearbook plus 10 years = kinda funny, but we've seen worse
yearbook plus 20 years = funny
yearbook plus 30 years = funny
yearbook plus 40 years = kinda funny, kinda cool
yearbook plus 50 years = old-fashioned and quaint
yearbook plus 60 years = old-fashioned and quaint
yearbook plus 70... [more]

It's like this thread was made for me and Zap Rowsdower.
My favorite shorts are Posture Pals, Mr. B Natural, Snow Thrills, and Why Study Industrial Arts. But really, all of them are winners.
From Snow Thrills: "she-whoring". Still makes me laugh.

I love this project. I think the photos are fantastic.
Those of us who are in the know about "HAES" can chuckle at the commenters who have no actual bearing on other people's lives.

On my first reading of the post, I thought the Starbucks-guy was ALSO named "Tom Hanks", and I thought, "WOW, that's really amazing!"

I saw this at the Channel 101 screening last month and was surprised that it didn't get voted back. People loved it! Myself included. I hope they make another episode.

Also, I think they filmed at the Batcave.

It's kind of eerie to look at a traffic map of the area right now.
Minnesota Dept of Transportation traffic map
Google maps (turn on traffic if it's not on)

One of the recent episodes of the Food Network show Unwrapped was about the movie No Reservations. Usually Unwrapped is about visiting candy factories or seeing how Cheetos are made, so it was pretty unusual to see Marc Summers (of Double Dare fame) interviewing Catherine Zeta-Jones.
I wondered if the Food Network sponsored the movie or something.
And then I wondered if it was Marc Summers' biggest interview evar.
