Don't Stop Believin'
After watching the videos over and over again, I had to walk away from the computer and let what I heard sink in because it sounded too good to be true.
I love that line. It's great when something awesome like that happens in life.

Songerize
Stay Alive by Trapt? Nope. Cold and Jaded by Adema? Uh uh.
Looks like they need to load up more songs.

Tearless Onion.
Now that we can cross "no-tears onions" off the todo list, erasing child poverty can't be too far behind.

Where do they all belong?
I think people (and especially senior citizen who aren't web savvy or computer literate) need a personal touch, that why I think becoming a self-appointed guardian angel is a good idea.
But SagaZone is still great.

geekyguy, I really commend you on your insight on this posting. This story brings to greater awareness the silent suffering and profound loneliness of people around each and every one of us.
Many of these people would be happy if someone would just inquire as to their well-being from time to time.

Gates farewell
Bill Gates has done more good, as an individual, than any pope, prophet, king or saint in the history of mankind.
East Manitoba Regional Junior Kabaddi Champion '94, the above statement would have to be one of the stupidest statements ever spoken in the history of mankind.
Get. a. clue.

I called him out on his rediculous comment. I was perfectly on topic.

The Method is for wimps
I think Day-Lewis is the best actor working (and "There Will Be Blood" will cement this), but Astro Zombie is dead-on about Crispin Glover. Sean Penn should get honorable mention as well.
I can't wait to see this movie!!

How Many Five Year Olds Could You Take in a Fight?
That site was based on a thread that I saw probably a few years ago now (and too tired to google up), and it was insanely funny. This website doesn't fare near as well.

Effective education, or merely cheap scare tactics?
Amazing post KokuRyu, and I think it's an effective advertising campaign. The images stay with you and the message hits home. As someone who has worked directly with molten metal in a foundry for years, I know terrible injuries happen. I know some supervisors care more about production than worker safety.
I say they should run this campaign during hockey games and late night television- the hours that blue collar workers watch. Maybe it'll save someone's life.

I've seen a lot in my lifetime, but I found the sous chef accident really, really freaky.
Maybe I should get some fresh air now.

The Legacy of Lynching
chlorus, it's people like you who cause these kinds of segregation and hatred for people different than yourself. People like YOU are the problem.
