Orange you gonna find a rhyme for that?
From this online prosody guide, I found that the term for it is an "identity rhyme"
Identity rhyme is simply the phonetic identity of two words. They can have the same spelling as well, but it is not required: for example, 'bat' as an animal and 'bat' as a club is an acceptable couple, as is 'all' and 'awl' or 'talk' and 'torque' and so forth; in poetry this sort of rhyme is often obtained by combination of two words, as in 'thinking' and... A kiss is just a kiss
Bringing up the desire for a good kiss is one thing, but I can't keep doing it for squeezing, hand-holding, first base, etc.
Yes, you can! If you really want to be close to her, you have to do something. If you do nothing, you will not be close to her. It may be that you have to ask a lot at first--but she did kiss you when you asked, and maybe she'll later on feel more comfortable asking you, or giving you, a kiss, or a squeeze, or an appreciative... The Pliers Years
I remember the power/volume knob on at least two TV's being broken off, and nothing beat the needle-nose pliers for that. No memories of the UHF or VHF knobs being broken.

My resume is very unhappy
Temp at one of the local universities. I temped at a university for a while, and got offered jobs a few times before I parlayed it into a pretty decent job; many departments hire temps as sort of a "working interview." You meet a lot of people in the academic world, and by rubbing up against them, you can glean a lot of information about not only the fields they study, but also what options there are in the working world, generally by having a fly-on-the-wall view of how a department... How can I stop thinking about the nasty?
I've often thought about flying to Vegas and hiring a hooker, but can't bring myself to do it.
How about local escort services? The Yellow Pages usually has them listed; no hipster alternative media needed. I find that pervasive thoughts are usually stopped or tempered by confronting the reality rather than spinning the wheels in the mud.

How do I get the most out of an IEP meeting?
As a parent of a diagnosed ADD/ADHD child (and being ADHD myself, and speaking for co-parent): come armed. Go into the meeting ARMED; there are plenty of resources available on the web with a minimal amount of googling. Ask for any brochures the school district has about "parents' rights," and remember that you don't have to sign anything until you are satisfied that your child is getting any services you think are necessary. (Usually this will be more than they offer in the meeting,... [more]

Adults who seem to be "working" Halloween.
It may be homeless or poverty-stricken people. Would you want to look someone in their eye if you were at the point where you had to do that--maybe in order to store some candy up for the off season, say your kid was asking for a candybar in November or December, and you just didn't have the xty cents to spend on the occasional Clark Bar? If your boss is a casual friend of said musician, would having your boss ask the musician what his wishes are for the tape of his music clash with your designs?

(Sorry; that wasn't an answer and seemed preachy; but I was thinking the band members or management--if there is still management of the band--may have music industry connections that would be able to transfer and archive the tape contents safely and professionally. Maybe you'd still get a copy of the contents. Also, if I were the musician, I'd probably love it if some knowledgeable musichead such as yourself came up to me and said, "Hey, checkitout, I found this tape of you... [more]

slightlybewildered's answer comes the closest to what I remember, but the details (a golden horse; that there was a book) don't ring any bells in my mind. But it falls within the right timeframe (1984) and is in the US.

How can I become an early riser?
Listen to your favorite music. Take a hot or cold shower. Do something, anything, to distract yourself from how crappy getting up at 5am feels to you. Also, go to bed earlier, and allow yourself a few days/weeks to reset your internal clock so that 5am won't feel like 5am after a while.

Is this missing a verb?
The "cave red and damp" does read funny, and, without "which," leads to ambiguity as to what "red and damp" modifies ("we" or "cave"); whereas "fastened to a stake" (or, simply, "fastened") couldn't modify anything but the rope.

I think some Chaoplin films may be too, but now I'm straying way off your original criteria.

Blueberries. Mash them up with your ground meat before cooking. Makes for a subtly sweet burger, which is brought out more if you're making cheesebuurgers. Also, a cool thing about blueberryburgers is they taste just as good re-heated.
Plus, you can say your burger is high in anti-oxidants.
