Self-Link for supporting documents?
micayetoca: Can't say whether or not it would survive, but I would certainly be happy to read it. I agree that even if you don't speak the language, it can also be a reference to something new that you've likely not heard before. Besides, if you only listen to songs in your own language, you're missing out on a lot. Same goes for the music referenced in the OP.

Best Answers, STAT(s)!
There is an option to mark an answer as a Favorite, and that gets tracked on your profile. There is an option of marking an answer as Best Answer, that doesn't get tracked on your profile. So my honest, not-snarky question is: why is tracking one okay, but not the other? It's all along the same "validate me" lines anyway.

So is it some sort of exercise thing? Sweat and effort? I'm not hearing any guys saying they got catcalled just strolling down the street with their bag of KFC or cruising the interstate in a late-model Golf.
I have never wooted at a guy, but if I were to do so, it would probably be at one who is exercising or exerting some sort of physical effort. Maybe even a construction worker, for extra table-turning effect. Can't really explain it, it's just... [more]

Woman: fetch food.
Ay ay ay.
I am Puerto Rican. As I said in the original thread, this servig the men in the familiy their plates of food used to be the norm. Not outright mentioned, but just the way it was.
The women in my family weren't submissive or unliberated. Far from it. But you know what, they did it because they wanted to. So to address what some people have suggested, that serving men their food = being an oppressed little woman who nicely plays along... [more]

Sorry, I meant to say"in my family, serving plates to men was the norm", I didn't mean to make it sound so general.

"You know what? There's such a thing as complicity in your own oppression. You know who fought hardest against the abolition of footbinding in China? The women. They broke the bones of their feet and hobbled around their entire lives because they wanted to. The fact that the men found it sexy was purely coincidental. Amazing the way that works."
And you know what? There may be some people who don't see fixing a plate for someone opression. There may be some who... [more]
