stroller panic..
Make sure you try it out first. We have a Combi stroller that my wife loves but it is too short for me to push comfortably (and I'm not a giant - only 6'1")

Check out the Dietary Reference Intake Macronutrient Publication by the Institute of Medicine . Good primer on fat.
Clinical effects of inadequate intakes, requirements at different life stages, etc.

And here is a review paper that would be a good starting point regarding genetic and nongenetic determinants of regional fat deposition

"Why is a really low body fat percentage unsafe?"
This is a tricky question because it often isn't the low body fat that it is unsafe, but rather a confounding factor that is related to both a deleterious health factor and the low body fat itself. For example it could be protein-energy malnutrition, an underlying disease, the female athlete triad, sarcopenia, substance abuse, intentional weight loss in response to a medical diagnosis, etc etc... "he believes that dangerously low body fat levels (ie 5% on a guy, 12% on a woman) are practical and reasonable."
It is perhaps also worth noting that these "dangerously low levels" are often seen in healthy, well-conditioned athletes such as boxers and sprinters.

My foot is broken......help...
Go to a doctor.
I had a non-dislocated fracture of my third metatarsal, didn't get it treated, and it still bothers me 15 years later.

Why aren't there more pink cars?
I have heard that Ford is bringing back the "Playboy Pink" Mustang next year. Also, there have been a few pink cars for Breast Cancer Research.

It burns, it burns!
How close to the skin is it? Could be shingles. If you get any spots in that area in the next couple days, go to urgent care. (IANAD but I like shingles.)

This has been attributed to Ty Cobb:

Help with my lower back pain issue
From Mark Rippetoe at Starting Strength
Here is the tried-and-true injury rehab method for muscle-belly injuries we got from Starr and that has worked for years better than any other method I've ever used. It also works well on orthopeadic injuries in general, and should be tried before anything more elaborate is used. Wait 3-4 days until the pain starts to "blur",which indicates that the immediate process of healing has stopped the bleeding and has started to... [more]

Is it in fact a totally innocuous gesture to (knowingly or unknowingly) send a former student porn and something that is so not a big deal? or is it actually really creepy, and did I do the right thing in telling him how uncomfortable the present made me?
Creepy

How do I get started using a treadmill?
Awesome! Good luck!
Throw some pushups and pullups in there too, to add some variety to your workout and build up general strength in addition to cardiovascular fitness.

Can martial arts really teach me to fall safely?
What about building strength in your hands / wrists / forearms so that if you do fall again, you will be less likely to get injured? Deadlifts are one of the best exercises for such strength.
