Nope, you're fine. The utilities will report to the credit bureaus only the name associated with the account. This kind of situation is why utilities are typically handled by the lease-holders and then re-billed to subletters if utilities aren't included in the rent.

I've been through this process (successfully) myself about 6 months ago for a US-based firm. In one interview, I was asked to figure out how many tennis balls could fit inside the structure of the Eiffel Tower. If you find and practice enough of these estimation questions you'll see that they frequently follow patterns, to the point that you can develop a loose process to follow each time.

Diagnose laptop problem?
It sounds to be like it could actually be a problem with the hard drive reading/writing, possibly due to either bad parts of the disk or a loose connector.
Have you had any problems opening, copying, etc large files (>50 MB)?
