I want to set up a SIMPLE in/out system for about 75 employees using available technology if possible (outlook, skype?) so that our operators can see where folks are at easily. any recommendations? Rather not buy new software unless it is cheap and easy easy easy

As part of a sabbatical leave, my wife and i are considering looking into a home exchange program. Can anyone recommend good programs or reviews of programs? This would be for international destinations, possibly Europe, possibly Asia. We would want something LT, perhaps 6 months to a year.

I think after 20 years in my post it is almost time for a sabbatical leave. Should my board approve this idea, please help me to think about some fun and educational plans for a year-long sabbatical adventure. I am in the non-profit health sector, an MD executive with a primary focus in community health. I am especially interested in developing my insights and leadership towards the broad determinants of health from practical community based approachs. I think travel out of the US would be of interest to both my family and me.

I was pulled over the other night after making a right turn at a stop sign. I believe i came to a complete stop but believe the officer could not properly see the sign or intersection from where he was standing. ( they seemed to be pulling lots of cars over: i watched three get pulled over in the short time i was stopped) How can i decide whether to contest this case? In my mind the key variables are: keeping a clean driving abstract so my insurance rates don't go up versus the hassle of going to court and potentially losing the case ( i am planning to photograph the site to see how strong my evidence looks and don't know yet). How would i discover whether this would affect my rates? In hawaii. Geico is the insurer

I am the CEO of a smallish non-profit (150 employees) I noticed recently that my CFO and my executive assistant were taking vacations and days off at the same time over the past 18 months (9 of 11 vacations) For reasons i wont go into, i doubt seriously they are having an affair. other than an affair, and this being a strange coincidence, any possible explanations you can think of? perhaps it is just my anxiety but somehow this is strange...

what has worked for you if you consider yourself overall an anxious person? i rarely suffer from any severe anxiety symptoms, panic symptoms or find that my anxiety is getting in the way of carrying out my daily activities, but rather it feels as if my general mood is of of rather high anxiety about a great many things and about nothing in particular, and has been so for years now.I come from a long line of worriers. i cant remember the last time i really relaxed in any kind of deep way. almost to the point where i cant even really remember how that felt, the world seems so colored with stress. I perhaps shouldn't even be using the term anxiety. by and large i do not meet any of the clinical criteria for this as a clinical definition maybe it really is the world we are in right now. i eat well, get plenty of rest and exercise, meditate. I take no medications. Drink a beer or glass of wine now and then. What has worked for you if you were once feeling like this?

HELP PLEASE OSX powepoint trouble I amusing the trial version, my PPT doucment crashed now on a save attempt and now it cannot be opened! Error message says "may be corrupt, in use or af a type not recognized" ARGHH! So much for OSX and fewer crashes! One crash and the document is trash: 20 hours of work? Any solutions??? I have tried rebooting to no avail.

Help setting up OSX leopard so that my wife can see AND edit all of my iphotos and itunes files?I am the administrator. She shares the same iMac, so this is not a network sharing issue i gather. I have read about 30 articles by googling, all are either pre-leopard or way beyond the understanding of this new iMac owner...use of terminology foreign to a newbie. Thank you!

OK: i know there are tons of posts asking some of the same things, and i have waded through many of them but may i beg your indulgence and ask a couple of relatively straightforward newbie questions? 1) If I need to work with Office documents from a PC environment (mostly word, occasionally PPT and excel) from time to time , can i do so without installing VM Fusion (which most here seem to favor) along with my Windows XP? Will Mac Office work with them? 2) Any discussions on how to best deal with the glare of the new monitor? 3) How good is the mail program: should i abandon gmail, run them both or go back to firebird? 4) Any reason to use safari if i already know firefox? Or consider one of the other choices? Thanks for indulging me. I have a lot to learn about this. ( )
