Today I was offered my dream job. But it's only 20 hrs., no benefits. I told my boss at my current, full-time job (which has great benefits) and asked if I could stay on and reduce my hours to part time. He considered it and asked me to write a proposal. How can I convince him?

We just bought a house, and the bathroom fan currently vents into the attic. I know this isn't good, and I have done a bunch of googling, but I still have questions. Like: who should do the work -- a roofer, a handyman, someone else? Is it better to vent through the roof or through the wall, as our handyman suggests? Any other things I should know?

My friend is looking for something she remembers from the '80s. It was a big plastic "jewel" on a bracelet or maybe a necklace -- it would open up and there would be a toy pet inside. (?) She wants to find one, maybe on eBay. But we can't remember what these were called!
