MeTa post: It's the New Madrid Fault!

I got up to use the bathroom and feed the cats. One cat wouldn't eat and was distressed. I tried to go back to sleep but was so worried that my baby was sick. All the sudden the bed started moving and I heard the blinds rattle in the window. "OMG THE BED IS MOVING" He woke up and stopped the blind moving. By the way, the cat that was acting weird and not eating shortly before the quake is now fine. I always thought that the pets being crazy= earthquake thing was bull, but this has got me wondering.
