I can't help much with the importing question, but I decided to order a custom Swift from Peter a few years ago instead of attempting to put one together myself. He was great to work with and I feel as though his prices for the components/labor were more than fair. Due to a recent job change where I left a very casual academic environment for a more corporate one, I welcomed the "uniformity" of wearing a suit almost every day. True, the dressier clothes take some more wrangling in the morning, but I tend to feel that I'm better off not feeling under-dressed for my day, where I may have impromptu meetings with people who are wearing more formal attire. I can get away with a 3-4 weeks between waxings, but I tend to maintenance-pluck. Oh, and if your skin ever gets irritated like mine does right after a wax, Bikini Zone on your face does wonders.
