I had the privilege of meeting each and every mod at the Portland 8 meetup. Let me tell you, vacapinta is witty and urbane and awesome in every way. He is a perfect fit for the "Midnight Mod" position. In my mind, he would sound like DJ Venus Flytrap on WKRP In Cinncinnati, with a silky-smooth delivery.

I enjoyed listening to the MeFi voices and agree that Konolia, Wendell and bitter old punk sounded as I had imagined. Another thing that brought up a question in my mind that was Matt and Jess mentioned the user profile picture page in passing and I searched the site, but could not find an easy way to find a link to that page.
