If you're going to delve into chain Mexican food with Chipotle, then you really should just skip it and have Qdoba instead. They're around the corner from each other downtown (16th & Market.)
I've found in Denver that it's harder to find bad Mexican food than it is to find good Mexican food. Las Margaritas on South Gaylord is pretty good. Little Anita's on South Colorado Boulevard has the best chips and salsa I've had here yet - it's a ways from... [more]

I say good.
We have the Cerulean queen-sized mattress from Comfortaire and have had it for a couple of years now. It was an upgrade from my firm IKEA mattress which my wife couldn't really use, as it really hurt her back.
No large complaints, but the only caveat is this.
You can't sit on the edge of the bed, ever. The edges are just foam and will collapse under any weight for a longish period of time. I've rotated the... [more]

As sugarfish says, Rogers Park is going to be a little cheaper, and so would Jefferson Park - my wife and I nearly got a place there for $475 that was quite nice and loads cheaper than what we were paying.
Cost of living in Chicago is probably going to be a little more in general than the south, too. But it's totally worth it.

My first question before seeking alternatives would be, do you already own your name as a domain name? I would personally use yourname.com on CVs, and consider an ancillary domain for all your blogging/photos/junk.

Mo, you got it. Nice job!
There were some stray Kensington extensions that weren't disabled - my predecessor here used a Kensington mouse, and perhaps he enjoyed Incessant Blinking Down Arrow.
Thanks!

badstone, I was a PC user for eight years before I switched to Mac about three years ago. I absolutely used to abhor Macs and was a hardcore PC advocate. Macs running OS 9.x? Toys. Lousy. Etc.
Then OS X came out, and I gave the Mac serious consideration. So serious that I ended up buying one. And truth be told, it's one of the best computers I've ever owned. I was actually excited about getting it - something I never felt with a PC, frankly.

I, too, was somewhat skeptical about Chillow when my cohort Ryan purchased one. But my wife and I bought them and I must say, they work beautifully.
Be sure to heed the Chillow's instructions on doing a monthly "sweep," and keep it away from sharp objects - the surface is somewhat fragile. Initially I was worried that the thing would stay as stiff as it was out-of-the-box, but it softened up nicely in a matter of weeks.
I use it every... [more]

I don't want to "me too," but I wholeheartedly agree that premarital counseling is a fine idea.
The time before and after the wedding can be tumultuous and stressful, and counseling can truly help with that. The counseling my wife and I received wasn't religious in nature and, ultimately, wasn't with an incredible counselor - but we still valued the experience.

First, go to Centerstage Chicago and search to your heart's content.
Greek: Greek Islands. Chinese: all I know is take-out, not very sit-downy.
What to do?
I'd say, "Avoid Navy Pier." (It's terribly overrated and is quite touristy.) Explore the neighborhoods: Andersonville, Lincoln Square, Logan Square, Wicker Park, River North, Hyde Park, Pilsen, Chinatown. Each has its own feel and... [more]

When I was in Chicago, I had DIRECTV and not one problem during snowstorms. There was one time that the signal went south, but that was during a rather violent thunderstorm. In contrast, cable was very problematic in Chicago and is a little off-kilter in Denver.

One thing that will probably make purists cringe is the fact that my practice Peavey amp has built-in effects. The whole thing uses DSP to emulate effects in pedals and, for my purposes, it works pretty well. I would recommend giving a look at amps that include these features if you're looking to just "fool around," and second the call for buying pedals.
And, of course, rawk out.

I would look at the Honda Odyssey, Nissan Quest, and Toyota Sienna in that order.
Chrysler puts out a good minivan, and many of the problems with the 80s models are taken care of, but frankly you can find something more reliable elsewhere.
Insofar as new v. used goes, try to find one year old or "demo" cars if you can. A friend (no, really, a friend) bought his Acura this way and saved something like $8,000. The sacrifice is that it... [more]

Here is the deal. I know that e-commerce involves a number of layers of security, site certificates, and the like - but I'm not sure how they go together, exactly.
I'm knowledgable in backend stuff, but haven't had to tackle this - until now. Assume I already have the product(s) I want to sell, but nothing else. No software, no site certificates, nothing.
Thanks in advance.

Yep - it's an existing company.
Sorry about the vagueness of the original question; I'm basically starting from scratch. There's an existing system in place (which I don't understand, hence the question) but I've been asked to reevaluate it going forward.
I've done a few small-time PayPal things in the past, but this is a major system that will sell hundreds or thousands of items during a 3-4 month period. Also, there is no physical inventory,... [more]

We moved to Colorado a few months ago, and it is Damned Dry here. I mean really dry.
I tend to use a shea butter-based lotion for my hands, which get very dry and generally unsightly. For me, the simple lotions like Vaseline Intensive Care are like water - they feel good for 2 seconds and then peeter out. And some are the opposite: far too thick.
I say: shea butter.
(Hi, by the way. It's been a while.)
