Varrrghas.
Or maybe Nita Naldi [goog-images]?
The strike against Louise Brooks is that she had brown eyes whereas the unknown girl has green (or perhaps blue) eyes (like Naldi). Not sayin' I'm right - just an observation.
I would email SFAE - they have a long association with Vargas.

Time to Pimp My Blog
I reckon I wouldn't visit the blog. I would subscribe either to your youtube name or the blog feed. But I have flashblock and load only about 1 in 50 youtube videos I ever come across, so I'm not your audience I guess. If I were to stumble across your site I would in fact be more interested in the sidebar for either links to compelling material within the site (which, if they are only videos, I'm just not going to bother with) or to interesting sites you link to outside.... Vietnam Visa Question
Is there any way to extend it with minimal costs?
This depends on yours and your friend's definition of 'minimal costs'.
It's not that expensive. I used to get my renewals done by travel agents in Hanoi and it will be the same in HCM. It was like, vaguely remembering a couple of years ago, ~$50 or so for a 3 month visa. If your friend wants it fast it will cost more.... [more]

What happened to clean URLs, Google? Jeez.
swhitt has it. I did that, restarted ff and all is fine again.
(I had thought it was just me and was as a result of installing Configuration Mania some weeks ago)
Still, it's kind of annoying. In principle I didn't mind the history helping to tweak search results, but the loss of the right click URL/copy ability was just insufferable.

Hmm. That's not what I recall magnoliasouth. I've always been logged in and it's only been weeks/couple of months at most with this notable URL copying disturbance (I know, because I do it many times a day every day). But wasn't there a change to the login recently perchance? A consolidation update or the like? It may have resulted from that I suppose. The specifics whizzed past my head at speed however.

Footwear, hat, sunglasses, ipod, camera. That's all you really need.
I would discard all the rest and just take footwear if it came right down to it. (I know: absurd. I'm just talking priorities. It can be hard to get sandals either of decent quality or - especially for guys - of the right size, depending on where you are.)

Indeed. I disagree absolutely with everything you said.
This is not hearsay.
Go to fewer places and stay a bit longer. What's not to be missed, whichever countries/places you decide on, is slowing down and stopping to experience rather than rushing to see.

Alright, I'll concede to your pebble examination and be clearer. I disagree with the negative characterisations of Vietnam. I don't disagree with your recall of the teeming multitudes you have interviewed. And although there's always competing priorities with a time sensitive trip, it's not an actual competition. I would see if you can fly from Bangkok to Siem Reap (Angkor) for 24 or 48 hours and forget about Bangkok. It's a city. Yes, it has its charms and adventure aplenty but the flight to Cambodia is fairly cheap ($200 return or thereabouts, if memory serves) and Angkor is amazing. But Bangkok is just a big city. I wonder which you'd more readily remember?

Why do cinematographers have their credentials listed in movie credits?
Thanks. I remain a little perplexed. I had no thoughts of unions versus society accreditation; I was more interested in the history of the phenomenon: what caused it to become something of a tradition. And yeah, it is a bit wider than just cinematography (my original thought): I do recall seeing casting and sound people having credentials listed at times. You're probably right grouse, in terms of why it is the "2nd tier" professions have listings as opposed to the high flyers. Maybe... [more]

That's it. You don't have to reciprocate, just say thanks and mean it. I've always found that these gifts or gestures are best served randomly and not as obligations owed. Some of the biggest buzzes in life have come from the doing of the something unexpected for a partner.

Rules of High Jump.
From my junior years intensively involved in athletics, two things spring to mind.
There were standing-start jump events, definitely in long jump and, I'm mildly confident, also in high jump.
