If you could have a body like the video hotties in 20 minutes, would you do it? If you answered yes, may I suggest the Dimepiece Workout? It's not just fitness; it's hip hop fitness.

MeTa post: MeFi contacts stuff is back online and here's what...
I can certainly understand the general concerns of Norton, rushmc, et al. However, as Kottke observed some time ago, the volume of the conversations on MeFi, MeTa, and AskMetafilter requires the user to a) give up, b) selectively edit on the fly, or c) take the Irving Tobin route. Some time ago I created a personal portal with links to my favorite MeFi participants' user pages. When work or family priorities limit my surfing, I can at least get a feel for what's been happening by scanning... [more]

Beholder, we probably shouldn't try to legislate (that's not the right word, but you know what I mean) the way "hot-button" posts look, even though--let's face it--this one ain't so hot. And yes, I think a Carl Rowan link would've provided an appropriate and enlightening counterpoint to the NBC4 link. However, I also think that the first 15 or so responses to this post were almost universally smartass in nature. Sort of like saying, "OK, if you're gonna post this link this way,... [more]

MeTa post: This post Shows why giving users control over font...
IMHO, it's not just the use of small fonts (which should be used sparingly, if at all) that makes this post troublesome. There seem to be too many links. I am interested in perusing them, but I'll have to shelve it and get back to it when I have more time, which will probably never happen. Slightly off topic: the nifty rollover text... [more]

Get well soon, Mr. Haughey. Our prayers are with Haughey family. Keep your chin up, Matt. Help your mother hold the fort down. Best wishes.
