You thought you were a Star Wars fanatic? Thanks to the always excellent Lily Tao, who posts the most interesting links on her blog, we have the tale of the fan boy who built a life-size Millenium Falcon in his (former?) friend's back yard. Another set of pics here.

Right after they claim to be building a tool shed, the next image is the nearly completed Falcon.
This, for whatever reason, made me weak with laughter.

Good gravy...the guys who built their own Gundam make the Falcon guys look like a bunch of pikers. That is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. I want one now. The Gundam, that is...
