Sorry, I had to do it, it was totally my call. He questioned my sobriety.

I wonder if they would consider, say for an extra million or so, ejecting him into the void of space. Hmm, probably a bad idea, he would wind up really irritating some other race out there somewhere, and they would come to earth all pissed off and stomp on us for littering.
Oh well, he is our burden. One of them.

The Russian Space Agency charge $20million to take a tourist up into space and back again. A fund has already been set up for Lance Bass to raise $10 million.

They should eject him into space and make him a new satelite.

Good headline, bingo.

I don't understand why people give him such a hard time. If you could get paid to sing and dance and entertain people, wouldn't you? If you could take some of the money you got paid for that and go to the freaking Space Station, wouldn't you?

Sounds like an ugly combination of envy and forced hipper-than-thou attitude.

Side note, now I see why choir or band was better than sports in school.
I'm not nor will I, be a professional sports player, yet I knew it when I lettered in them.

Remember in February it was mentioned this was a publicity stunt, now I bet he or marketing wished they pronounced his name Bass as in the instrument.
He would be the king of rock'n roll in outer bass(base).

I admit it, I am green with envy. A trip to the space station would be an undeniably excellent and exciting time.
Damn lottery......

If they can send one member of 'NSync to outer space, why can't they send them all there?

anildash: You're right. I am envious that I was not the person who was anointed into his position arbitrarily.

Skallas, can you think of an 80's song for this.

In space, no one can hear you suck.

Yep! Poor ventilation, high carbon dioxide levels, and a constant 75 dB noise level, plus accumulation of corrosive mold and fungus, not to mention pooping in free fall. Can't wait.

Haven't they learned how to do the whole artificial "gravity" via centrifugal force thing yet? Sheesh, Kubrick had that downpat 35 years ago!
