It was bound to happen. Danger Porn is a site made exclusively for the Danger Sidekick and the browsing of porn.

I always figured the only reason the Danger Sidekick had mobile internet and came with that little camera was for instant updating of "Upskirt" fetish sites.
Or maybe I've just stumbled onto a gold mine. posted by Stan Chin at 10:52 PM on October 15, 2002

They're not actually taken with the Sidekick cam are they? The pictures seem too high quality to come from the tiny little camera on the Sidekick posted by PWA_BadBoy at 11:07 PM on October 15, 2002
These aren't photos from the sidekick they're for the sidekick. My SK camera is color and produces some pretty tiny output. I haven't, err, tested this site yet, but I'm assuming the format they chose renders nicely through danger's proxy servers and onto the SK screen. posted by skallas at 11:10 PM on October 15, 2002

Remind me to look over the shoulder of someone using one of these. Or, wait, no -- remind me not to. posted by dhartung at 12:14 AM on October 16, 2002
Since I'm a) at work, and thus have no intention of clicking on the link, and b) using linux, can someone please explain what the hell the Danger Sidekick is and what the hell the link is about? posted by salmacis at 12:29 AM on October 16, 2002
My first visit to MF on my hiptop and this is the link. What are the odds? (probably pretty good these days...) posted by perplexed at 12:45 AM on October 16, 2002
Is it waterproof? I've always wanted easily-transportable pr0n in the comfort of my home shower. I'm tired of laminating my favorite playmates and having everyone at the store look at me funny. posted by The God Complex at 1:05 AM on October 16, 2002
The Danger HipTop (also known as T-Mobile Sidekick) is a cheesy little all-in-one wireless device with nothing going for it but first-to-market advantage. Wretched UI, low production values, stoopit name.
Cell phones have had cameras for a couple of years now here in Japan, and it's becoming a problem because guys can hold them under women's skirts on escalators and take pictures without being noticed. posted by planetkyoto at 3:26 AM on October 16, 2002

Once again, perversion is the root cause for technology advancement. Cool! posted by mischief at 4:17 AM on October 16, 2002
I find it highly ironic that the one of the people that complains about the rendering of pages on the Sidekick/HipTop can't actually write valid XHTML. 50 errors, how clean. posted by ralawrence at 4:25 AM on October 16, 2002

Suprfli, even though the post says PORN in it, you should put the good 'ol NSFW (Not Safe For Work) text with it as well. posted by CoolHandPuke at 5:55 AM on October 16, 2002
Uh, Richard? I can write valid markup, I just didn't. It's not a jihad. posted by anildash at 9:54 AM on October 16, 2002
Thanks adamg for the explanation. I thought maybe Danger Sidekick was a rare vision disorder that caused people to see everything sideways. posted by Daze at 1:58 PM on October 16, 2002
I couldn't disagree more with adamgreenfield's SideKick review. I think it's a fantastic device.

Sure you can. How about cleaning up your pages then? posted by ralawrence at 2:10 AM on October 17, 2002
Sorry you disagree so strongly, stevenf. If it makes you feel any better, I always loved Audion. ; . ) posted by adamgreenfield at 2:23 AM on October 17, 2002

I'll get right on that. Meanwhile, you go make your mom's bed. I left it unmade this morning. posted by anildash at 4:18 PM on October 18, 2002
