Very cool link. Thanks.

Reminds me of the one-of-a-kind freitag bags made from tarps. They call it a WYSIWYG store.

The most creative instance of recycling that I've ever seen was when my grandmother started using the red plastic netting off a picnic ham for a hair net, to keep her hairdo from becoming ruined during sleep.

I love it that Puma did this - but didn't care for the actual site. Too hard to read and the descriptions were just irritating - advertising unsuccessfully masquerading as journal entries.

Lately I've been reading up on an old craft technique - rug hooking with rags. It's what people used to do before they came out with those tacky and expensive rug hooking kits depicting kittens and rainbows with yarn. People would cut up their worn out clothes into 1" strips, get a hold of some burlap, pick up a latchhook (they cost $2 now) and have at it. The result was gorgeous.

Where is the crouching woman with semen on her leg?

How come I see a bunch of guys sitting around a boardroom who will -never- wear these shoes going "how can we separate the kids from their money NOW?" For added bonus -- you can say your shoes came from a thrift store without actually having to go in and associate yourself with the sort of people who shop there.
