This one is nice:

"Dress Up A Terrorist"

"US Marine = Skinhead = Hamas Suicide Bomber = Al-Qaeda fighter = KKK Member = Multinational manager"

This site uses the same kind of facile appeal and vague association of ideas as any other limp, half-baked conspiracy edutainment and similarly causes no good effect on society... It will suck you in if you're already leaning in a certain direction, but it's a worthless and counterproductive path they lead you down... that is, provided you're genuinely concerned with the causes that are supposedly being championed.

What I mean by "this site" is "some of the posters in the gallery." I'm all for the pacifist and anti-war ones. Just some of the more allusive, suggestive political ones bother me.

I'm an America hating leftist, and many of these make me feel embarrassed by association.

I've seen better graphic design on Fark.

It's like Adbusters without the sense of restraint or taste!

Ism said it best. The posters have nothing to do with world affairs, and everything to do with vanity, vanity, vanity.

Throw them in a bin with the "The Only Bush I Trust is My Own" placards and the "Buck Fush" messenger bags, et al.

cmonkey: No need to be embarrassed. American-hating is a big all-inclusive tent. It takes all kinds of people to do it in all the ways it needs to be done.
Seriously.

Heh. They may be trite and facile, but no one says political art has to be subtle. These are posters - and posters are not a medium for "serious" art anyway. People hang these from their walls to get a gut reaction, not to stimulate intellectual debate. The more outrageous the better.

Wait a minute, why are they protesting McDonalds? Say what you will about the quality of their cuisine, but last I checked, they have precious little to do with Iraq.

I agree. There is the segment of people here and on the left in general who think that all corporations are evil and they all cause war. I think they need to throw out their Starbucks cups and stand next to "free Palestine" groups at the anti-war rallies because I don't want to be associated with them. I think people need to get away from their dogma a little more and look at reality without all of the generalities.

However, it's very good gallery in general.
