Fat chicks in party hats.

Fat chicks in party hats. Offensive or comedic. You decide. I'm still in shock...
I remember these guys when they were just a Yahoo club. They used to join clubs for bulemia and anorexia and plan to ambush the members during scheduled chats.
The overall effect of the site at this point appears humorous, but their history is the height of cruelty.
After all, if the site were "fags in leotards", would there even be a question?

There's always a question if you're postmodern enough; the irony onion can always be peeled back another layer. But you just have to be hip.

Intent is everything.
South Park is hip. This isn't.

Aw, geez, I guess you're just not hip enough to catch the secret meanings in my comment.
"Funny" is what makes you laugh. If cruel things make you laugh, that's funny. You might feel bad about it, but you're still laughing. If the cruelty is a joke, then that's funny and approaches clever. If there's no irony in the cruelty, well, you may think it's funny, but it's not near clever. Like Andy Kauffman: who's the joke on?
Besides, nothing's really funny (or hip) unless it's all recursive and meta ;-)

Is that just a fancy way of saying "...unless you're on the (so-called) 'A-List'"?

This was funny, but I think a site devoted to Fat Men In Little Jackets would be much funnier.
I mean pants-splitting funny!

Oh, yes. Man, my life was worthless, until I made it into the A-list, crawling over the fallen bodies of other hopefuls. Now, I catch all the obscure references, I'm ahead of every meme, and people far and wide revere and worship me. Next step: the Illuminati.
