Surfing in stylewith the new Lazyboy recliner - except the keyboard is on the left side. Probably so your right hand can use the remote control.

Something tells me that having a free right hand is not for the remote... I would enjoy personally shooting any person who owns one of these. posted by internook at 1:51 PM on January 9, 2001
Where's the Kleenex holder? posted by fullerine at 1:57 PM on January 9, 2001
It has dual arm storage, plenty of space to put your kleenex in. posted by Zool at 2:32 PM on January 9, 2001
They should've put a Twiddler on it, instead of the laptop keyboard.
That would've sold it for me.
The twiddler is an amazing $200. Are they handcrafting each one out of human bone!!?!?!? posted by internook at 3:24 PM on January 9, 2001
Yeah, that's why I don't actually own one myself yet.
I can't imagine there's much demand for them outside of wearables, so mass-production is out. Handcrafting may not be too far from the truth.
Human bone probably is though. :-) posted by cCranium at 3:36 PM on January 9, 2001

What a disappointment! A recliner with a keyboard tray. Big deal.
The "Cyber-Recliner" I've been imagining for the last couple years has two half-keyboards, right at the end of the armrests, and a cage-mount for the monitor, so it's always in the same position--relative to your head--no matter how much you recline.
The deluxe hacker version could even come with "options" to enable multi-day coding sessions, without ever having to get up from the chair....
