SXSW still hasn't posted the winners on the site. Grrrr. Anyone have any news? Gossip? Throw me a bone? Please?

I would hesitantly list the following awards that I remember from the other night, I'm sure someone will post the full list once we're all back from Austin...

Developer's Resource: Linkdup
E-Commerce: Satan's Shirts
Gaming: Gamasutra
Humor/Satire: AOLiza
Online Education: IKnowThat.com
Personal/Online Diary: Granato
Unique Interface: Wanzer Munizza Design Studio
Weblog: Who Would Buy That?

Again, these are from memory, so they might not be 100% correct, and I obviously left a bunch out. It's tough to recall all of them, because of John's antics and the pressing need to run off to the Fray Cafe immediately afterwards.

Thanks, Anildash!
Grammys and silly awards, I know, but my brother designs one of the sites (PlanetKiki) that's up for Best Grrl...

I still find it tremendously amusing that all these people are at an Interactivity festival, and none of them are updating their blogs.

Well, it's either amusment or jealousy, but jealousy rarely makes me giggle.

...the poor man's eBay Treasure, er, when they still updated that is.

I'm more disappointed in the finalists and winner for Online Community.

And it seemed like 90% of the finalists had either a pop-up window, full music soundtrack, and/or were composed entirely of Flash. Kind of annoying. (Disclaimer: I don't hate Flash, but I would've liked to see some more innovative websites entered that didn't require a proprietary plug-in.)

I'm more disappointed in the finalists and winner for Online Community regarding the winner of the community awards; notice that even there, they didn't have nader in the debates.

I agree with waxpancake. If you're going to include sites that are almost entirely Flash, you should have separate categories for HTML and Flash (or "proprietary tools"). I want ideas to pilfer! ;-)

don't forget that award nominees had to a) submit their sites for review and b) pay a fee to be considered.

A thousand curses on sites that effectively lock you out if you aren't running Flash.
