Another fun way to waste time on the web. Electrotank.com went live today. Their minigolf game had been available in beta form for a week or two, but the last 9 were disabled. Now they're all there except for #18, and the dreaded hole 8 has been moved to 17. There are other games too, and a "vision" statement, the first item of which is that they will "Provide a place where people can go to play free high quality online games. " Sounds good to me! Flash plug-in required...

Yeah, but the whole site is live today, including the index page, and they have other games available too.

okay, what the hell were they thinking making hole 17 a par 3? I don't think so. Definately a fun game.

heh, i don't know what's up with you guys. this is my first time playing, and i got a birdie on the 17th. :)

StrengthCoach is also pretty fun, especially if you have people you can compare your score to.

howa, you need to aim right for the sandtrap, just a little under full power.

Damn, Razzle beat me. *shakes fist* Aim for the sand trap at about 4/5ths strength. You'll get par in no time.

Nabiscoworld has one of the neatest Backgammon games I've seen -- and their Mah-Jong is pretty slick too. A low-profile site no one seems to know about. Unfortunately, it's Windoze-centric (but I play it at work).

CNNSI's arcade also has a homerun and golf game. Of course, their old homerun rally (~3 years ago) was a lot better and really addictive.

Cheers now I'm going to get fired. Started playing the krazy golf game. Couldn't stop. Forwarded it to our entire data entry team. They stopped entering sales figures and started playing krazy golf. Management looked at our marketing & sales info system. They thought the market was crashing around them and started jumping out of windows at the thought of their share options becoming worthless. Shit then rained on my head. Okay I exagerate slightly.

It's fun, but how about a windmill on one of the back nine?
