Congratulations Matt, I couldn't be happier for you! As full fledged member of the Pyra Booster Society, I think it's a good fit. Ev, you guys take care of our little man, okay?

Congratulations, Matt&Howie, looks like you've gotten yourself a dream job with a great team; or maybe we users should be congratulated, 'cause we're gonna be getting a ton of cool tools coming from that talent pool... (Now all you need is a patent lawyer...JUST KIDDING!)

all this pool of talented, design-savvy, imagitative people reminds me of the early days of 'electric minds', 'wired'...
maybe someone could redo block's 'homepage' , just imagine a nice documentary called 'weblog'.

anyway, i can't wait to see what delightfull apps the team will create.

(where can i buy shares?)

Tuesday after the Weblogging Round Table, I had the usual gaul to walk up to Meg and Matt and I said something to the effect of, "about that message board thing for Blogger, you two HAVE talked right? I mean Metafilter and Blogger would be a great combination."

They sorta kinda nodded at me AS IF to say (and I don't mean to put words in their mouths but) "yeah of course we've talked and my but you're silly for thinking we didn't and that we'd need someone like you to tell us to, BUT Matt may or may not be coming on board Pyra to help with message boards if he's coming on board at all and we'd hate for you to spread rumors or anything so just shut up okay?"

Well actually they just sorta shrugged, half nodded and looked away, but I have an active imagination. Anyway, congrats Matt, and I'm glad you'll be working with Pyra on whatever.
