He did it.

He did it. He tried to find a way to weasel out, but he did it. The people have spoken, and Greg Knauss has taken his, um, medicine like a man.

I can't believe Greg didn't know about Typhoon, in Santa Monica (surely Adam's heard of it?).

I hear it's not half bad. He could have had that cricket stir-fried.

just one word - EEEWWWW! Being the total pussy that I am, I probably would've opted to hold up my end of the deal by eating a vw BUG shaped chocolate.

Greg, you are a braver man than I.

You know, that completely skipped my mind. I've eaten at Typhoon before, and remembered seeing fried crickets on the appetizer list.

Though, let's face it: Greg's story would have been nowhere near as funny if he'd been able to order spring rolls right along side his bugs.

What about escargo? Aren't snails bugs? That would've been my easy way out.

Well, easier. I mean, eating a butter-drenched ball of soft, squishy, slimy, snail meat is easier than a crunchy, crackily, chilatenous cricket.

I'll be the cricket was cheaper though. :-)

i just hadn't expected "bug shooters." cooking it into oblivion would enable the "it tastes just like chicken" option, but a shooter! man, there's no way that will ever taste like chicken. eating bugs that way will put antennae on your head!

Oh, Greg... you are the *man*.

And you sound more and more like Dave Barry every day.

(That's a compliment, by the way.)

Me, I would have had a burger and then lied my ass off about it. How would any of you know? Sure, I'd know...but I wouldn't care.

Greg has integrity. He has integrity and he's honest. Uh, he has integrity, he's honest, and he ATE A BUG!!! I so wish I had been there. *THAT* would have been a photo op!

As far as I'm concerned, it was his own damn fault. He put bug on the list with full knowledge that it would be chosen as #1. He made his peanut butter and cricket sandwich, and he ate. I respect that aspect of it, at least.
