Help! I'm about to have more money than I know what to do with! I'm starting a career, and right from the beginning I want to make good financial choices, invest, et cetera so that I'm setting myself up for continued wealth rather than just wasting all my money. What resources are there to teach me how to do that?

I am a grad student in a computer engineering program who has recently become interested in sustainability. Please help me figure out how best to use my talents to have a positive impact on society.

Okay Chicago Mefites, you've foiled me by a matter of days before, but I live here now (again)... what say you to a meetup before the holidays hit?

What does it mean that I must constantly re-boot my wi-fi access point in order to get an internet connection? My desktop is not on a wireless connection (it's wired directly from the router) and doesn't have this problem--only the laptops that are on wifi. In addiiton, I'll often have to reboot the laptops as well, even though I'm getting a "signal" but not internet connection. Do I need a new access point? Cable company (Time Warner) is of absolutely no help since it's not their equipment.

Some stuff that happened. A mild case of OCD.
A neighbourhood mom played the violin.

A quiet little sea shanty. Unless you turn up the volume, at which point it becomes a thunderingly loud sea shanty. It's good for when you need to psych yourself up to go hunt the whale-fishes.
