The guy astounds me. Someone explain to me again why the powers that be don't have Whedon working on at least two productions at all times.

This is contentious amongst the fandom (God do I hate that word - it seems to have lameness built into it) but when Mr Whedon spread his time between Buffy and Angel, both suffered. A bit.

The buildings wrapped in white in photos 1 and 15 are being dismantled in place piece-by-piece in order to build m much taller ones (20 Fenchurch Street and the Shard of Glass, respectively). The Shard will be the tallest building in the country, and possibly Western Europe.

So Hillary was cheering for Obama to lose so she can have her run in 2012. Now what? If Obama loses, You have McCain for 4-8 years, then you have to run against Palin, another woman and the sitting Vice President. Not only does this cinch the election for McCain, it completely screws over and buries Clinton. Her dream of being the first female President just got a lot harder.

Regional humor is an odd thing. I listened to a couple of Clower's pieces and I found them annoying. The regional humor of my home state of Maine is pretty similar-- rural people are crafty except the few of them who are dumb, but they are still smarter than urban people and law enforcement.
