I need fresh views on money and wealth

Recommend me some resources (online or otherwise) - books, articles, videos, movies, websites, etc - that has challenged and possibly even changed your perspective of things - especially with regards to money and wealth.

Time to get schooled by the professor!

Some kind soul has uploaded an exhaustive collection of Professor Julius Sumner Miller's Science Demonstrations to YouTube. This is my playlist, I thought the other fans of JSM on Metafilter might enjoy it.

Der Tod und das Mädchen

One of Franz Schubert's finest songs. Recorded, inexpertly, live in a recital I did in Oxford about a year ago with my excellent accompanist Guy.

Lumosity Brain Games This is something I've been working on for the last year. All the games on the site are based on existing neuroscience research as well of some of our own research (check out the science page). We've tried really hard to make these activities into something more fun than boring lab exercises. Hope you enjoy!

Quotes that offer insight?

What single quote is the best introduction (or accurately encapsulates) a philosophy, belief or conviction that you hold? Or alternately, a quote that describes something in a way that gives you a deeper understanding of a particular perspective that you may or may not endorse.

Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet

Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet ...Scroll down and play the audio clip..."The door of the recording room opened on to one of the large painting studios and I left the tape copying, with the door open, while I went to have a cup of coffee. When I came back I found the normally lively room unnaturally subdued. People were moving about much more slowly than usual and a few were sitting alone, quietly weeping." Sez Wikipedia: Jesus' Blood Never Failed Me Yet is a piece of music composed by Gavin Bryars in 1971. It is based around a recorded loop of an un-named tramp improvising a hymn. The track was rerecorded with Tom Waits in the 80's, and can be bought on Amazon. Originally heard on CBC's (soon to end) Northern Lights.
