Cover me!

Anyone know of a good PHP library that will allow me to pull cover art images from Amazon?

Looking for novel-esque non-fiction books.

I love Erik Larson's The Devil in the White City. It's a non-fiction book about Chicago in 1893 which reads much like a novel. I'd like to read other books written in the same novel-esque style about some other cities or historic events. Know of any novel-like non-fiction reads?

I had a terrible time trying to sell a used PSP...

Dawdle - StubHub for video games (and systems and accessories) I had a terrible time trying to sell a used PSP online (eBay, Amazon, Craigslist), so my friends and I tried to build a better way. Yes, these are real items for sale by real people (and independent stores) and we handle all the payments (so no PayPal two step). What are we missing? What can we do better? Where the hell is that goddamn save point? (Why can't I stop using parens?)

The quality of luxury without the price or appearance

I used to get the cheapest liquid soap for washing hands I could find, but recently, I got the "shea butter" soap for $3 and found that the increased quality more than makes up for the increased cost. The question is: What else can I spend a little more on to get much more quality? (Fluffy towels, sheets, maybe?) Are there websites that review this?

How is Facebook doing its queries?

How does Facebook handle or simplify the presumably complicated DB queries involved so that me loading my page doesn't bring it to its knees?

How do I sue someone in small claims court across state lines?

Despite my very best efforts, I got scammed on eBay. Now my only recourse is to sue someone who lives in Chicago, while I live in DC. I know YANML, but can people provide me with an idea of how difficult and expensive this might be? I would need to be able to subpoena information from a couple of companies.
