CaliFilter: I'm going to be in San Diego for a brief last minute vacation in mid-August. I know nothing about the place other than the weather must surely be better than the awful Phoenix weather I'm leaving. That said, what are some things to see & do that you think shouldn't be skipped on a San Diego trip?

Neither my boyfriend nor I have a particularly high libido, and we make love once every few weeks or so. We've discovered, though, that we really enjoy watching good movies that are also....well....hot. And I do mean good films -- not porn -- that also are sexual. (Sex & Lucia, Shortbus, etc.) We enjoy watching a film, find it arousing, and then we have great sex! I'm curious what other films are out there that tell a good story....have strong character development....and are sexy. Any recommendations?

OSX Security: I followed the instructions on this MacOSXhints article to setup my shiny new MacBook Pro to take a picture using the built-in iSight whenever there's a failed authentication attempt. I've noticed that every night at 9:53, there are multiple failed login attempts, but it's while I'm using the computer, so I end up with pictures of me.

I prefer no background, and my wife wants a panda-movie screensaver. After the latest set of patches, Win XP (SP-2) suddenly started changing them, putting a new random one up on each reboot. I've repeatedly gone into Control Panel | Display and reset them, being careful to click Apply each time, but they don't stick. I assume it takes a registry hack. Can anyone help?

I see corrections in newspapers all the time. And now come to think about it Ive NEVER seen my local TV news do a correction. Nobody is perfect. So how do they deal with mea culpas?
