How can I preserve Douglas Adams' typewriter?

How can I preserve Douglas Adams' typewriter for the ages? And more generally, how do museums handle item donations and loans?

What the hell is BIGLAW?

I'm a law student trying to figure out if BIGLAW, with all the big letters, is something worth pursuing.

The Dirtbombs

"It's been nearly three decades since Dirtbombs leader Mick Collins first picked up a guitar with the sole intention of "murdering the Eagles." Since then, the tall, bespectacled, deep-voiced rock 'n' roller from Detroit has been scorned, worshipped, categorized and just plain misunderstood — sometimes simultaneously — by a music world often more interested in labeling than listening." Where can I find a radio vocabulary poster in French?

I am looking for a specific poster, and any information about where I could find one would be greatly appreciated. It's a poster with colorful illustrations or photographs of equipment found in a radio station (mics, headphones, midis, volume control, etc.) and all the vocabulary is in French. I know such a thing may be impossible to find, but I need to try.

Do you know jokes which presuppose obscure knowledge?

I love esoteric jokes, the kind of humor which presupposes a lot of specialized knowledge. The more opaque the joke is, the better. However, by their very nature they're kinda hard to search for on Google, or at least I rarely hit upon the magic searchterms. So, do you know good sites with specialist jokes? If not, do you know any particularly obscure jokes?

Missing Posts in Bloglines

Using Bloglines... Where did some of my saved articles go? For posts that I checked "Keep New" for some of the feeds the posts still show up while for other feeds they do not. However, the number saved still shows in gray parenthesis next to the feed name just as before. Is this a Bloglines issue or an issue with the originating site?
