Sort of a pathological sibling rivalry. Not autobiographical.

Forgot to upload this last track from my friend Matt and I. Instrumental, two acoustic guitars.

The proverbial seeds of this song were planted when I visited Savannah, Georgia at the beginning of the month and found myself captivated by the ubiquitous plant life named in the title.
Later, when I was working on lyrics and couldn't think of a second verse, my bandmate Mel reminded me of a dream my friend Kathy had in which I killed a guy and hid him behind a couch. The end result may be disproportionately creepy, but I rather like it.

Another song from that Swedish woodshed tape.
This I dont know the origin of. But the sentiments again appealed to us. The pain caused by
Foreign Wars. Still relevant?

An old song. Written by Robert burns in 1795.
Recorded by my old acoustic band, The Early Puritans in Sweden 1984 on a radio/cassette player with built in microphones. One take.
Found the tape in the woodshed this summer.
Lo fi.

New song, kind of a spur of the moment thing. I think this is pop, and that's cool with me.

This is a much better version of a song I submitted a while back. Many of the chorus-related mistakes mentioned in the comments have been fixed, and I have added a few vocal layers, along with some horns. It's really quite probably the best song I've ever put together.

In 2001 some friends and I bought a used answering machine that still had the tape in it. From what we could figure out, it belonged to someone named Marta. Anyway, we set some of the messages to the melodies we felt they deserved (using the hokiest canned drums the Boss BR-8 had to offer).

Help me identify the author of this quote:
"It is not hatred that is wrong; it is hating the wrong thing that is wrong. It is not anger that is wrong; it is being angry at the wrong thing that is wrong. Tell me your hatred and I'll tell you your character."
I've been stumped by someone in my house. :) Thanks!

Twangsome surf-rock from The Strange Attractors, recorded when I should have been writing screenplays. That's me kicking the reverb tank at the beginning.

It's a cover, but not exactly. I was too lazy to figure out the whole song, so I just took the basic hook and had some fun with it. First time working in Reason.

I think I managed to write a somewhat upbeat song! Well, upbeat if you ignore the title and lyrics. It's got: hammond organ, celesta, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, and some epic "Woo-oo-oooh" back up vocals.

"In the dark she fakes another little death, and says she thinks that it'd be better if he left. With ashes floating on her breath, she lights another cigarette." Down-tempo alt-country with a cello. From Pocket Novel Mystery's "Eight Days in the Life of Grace."
