I have a layover in Doha, Qatar from 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. and would love to see the city. What are the best (and cheapest) ways to transit from the airport to the Corniche and other interesting places?

Does anyone know a place in NYC or online where I can order a wall-sized map of the world. I have an image of something similar
here. I want to purchase as a wedding gift for two dear friends. The one in the picture is French, which is fine, it can be in any language. But it would be large enough for a wall, and with a beautiful antique look to it. That said, the less expensive options are preferred. All advice and suggestions welcome and thank you in advance!

I've recently been gifted a round-the-world plane ticket, and have the cash and time to support maybe three to four months of travel. I've already penned in visits to friends in NE America, Japan, and France, but otherwise am paralysed by choice - there's nowhere in the world that I don't want to see, if that makes sense. Does anyone have any links that might help with planning such an epic trip, or even suggestions for YOU CANNOT POSSIBLY MISS THIS destinations? Other, miscellaneous globetrotting advice is also welcome.

I need songs that give
advice for a mix I'm making. Any sort of advice is fine. For example, "Teach your children well" or "50 Ways To Leave Your Lover". Anything where the singer gives advice to the listener.
Thanks...

The Life Less Traveled: How Ordinary People Do Extraordinary Things…And How You Can, Too!
I meet a lot of people who have done some really amazing things, the kind of things that make you say "Wow, I want to do that, too!" So, I thought it would be fun to interview people who dared to take a chance and do something cool (like leave their jobs to travel for a year, pick up an unusual hobby, start their own business, etc.) and share these interviews via a website for all to enjoy. Thus was born
The Life Less Traveled. The goal of each interview is to capture how each interviewee committed to pursuing their idea (take that, naysayers!) and the benefits they reaped from doing so, perhaps inspiring readers to go after their own crazy dreams. Each interview is split into 4 sections: conception, implementation, reflection, advice.

My little brother will in a few months embark in a year-long trip around Asia (India, Vietnam, Thailand...), towards Australia as final destination. He asks me to set up a blog for him - easy does it, I'm a WordPress translator.
But what about media? And in general, what should I not forgot to make sure we get the best from his experience while not making it hard for him to communicate?

Lately, the concept of "friends" seems to have become incredibly diluted by the casual use of the term by Facebook, MySpace et al. But in "the real world" what do you consider to be important when you are
making and becoming friends? Is it how long you've known someone? How frequently you meet up? What you have in common? Something more intangible?
Also, I'd love recommendations of any books looking at the psychology of how people become friends.

An individual already possessing strength, intelligence, and skill is recruited and developed by the Government in ways that fuck up his/her mind but give him/her superhuman abilities. She/he eventually turns and uses her/his abilities to bring about the downfall of those who trained her/him. I'm looking for movies that have characters like this. Movies like this that I've already seen and enjoyed include Serenity and The Bourne Ultimatum.

Acus eee + Wireless: I have recently bought an Asus eee, and I would like to pick up more free wifi from various locations Downtown Vancouver, Canada. Is there a way that I can boost the connection?
I seem to get a few signals, but they are usually weak and drop off soon. I do not want to get internet service as it is too expensive, too inconvenient, it is not portable or or I need CDs to install the services(The asus does not have a cd drive.)
I have not found good laptop signal boosters for wireless yet, does anyone have any recommendations?
