Here's a little project I've been working on this week.
It grabs photos from Flickr on any subject you like (e.g.
kittens, or other
fluffy things) and then presents them as pairs of mirrored halves. (If that makes no sense now, it will when you vist the site! :-) )
The results can end up quite weird and strange. :-)

This is a cover *gulp* (really more of a tribute) of a song by this other band called
O'Death. I contacted them a while ago about doin it and they said hell yeah, do it up. (They are quite a different sort of band from us). Anyway, this is me singin an playin the fiddle. Hope you like it.

I made this little song last night. The lyrics, albeit very simple, have been stuck in my head for some time. And they reminded me of Captain Fred Stone and Flyball drifting silently through the cosmos. I guess this would have to be before Flyball hooked up with Moofa, the cat from mars, and had kittens. And a warning: the first time through the chorus is a bit rough.

I'd like to do a time-lapse movie of photos taken every 30 seconds during a week-long, 500 mile ride I'm doing later this year. But the rig has to be small, light, automatic, and run for hours a day without a recharge. Is this possible? (something tells me Make Magazine probably already covered this at one point)

I am shopping for a new coffee table and found
this one at Crate and Barrel. It's a black aluminum frame with with slots for 8 large tiles. You can buy the frame without the tiles and supply your own.
I'm looking for others like it.

I am starting a new career in a profession that is in demand, and I am just beginning the interview process. I feel confident in my skills, and I am aware that my resume looks pretty good. But prior to grad school, I only worked entry-level positions where the central issue in the interview process was "Pleasepleaseplease hire me!" I'd like to get a little more into dub and acquire some albums. I like what I understand to be the more typical kind of tracks: long, rumbly instrumentals and would prefer to largely avoid anything with predominant vocals.
