The Book Surgeon. Using knives, tweezers and surgical tools, artist Brian Dettmer carves one page at a time. Nothing inside the out-of-date encyclopedias, medical journals, illustration books, or dictionaries is relocated or implanted, only removed.

We've had this before. His work was displayed here in Chicago for a short time a few years ago at the International Museum of Surgical Science. Which I saw. And it was awesome. His stuff is so much cooler in person.
